Tim was literally lying down on his back, casting lazily, when he caught this crappie. Crappie are “pan fish” which means that don’t get much bigger than a frying pan. So, you shouldn’t be surprised when I tell you this was the biggest one he had ever caught. It was a nice job for someone “lying down on the job”. Also, Tim wanted me to mention that any grey you see in his beard is due to the light reflecting off of the water.
