This morning I’ve “flipped the switch” on a refresh of livingchristmastree.org. The Living Christmas Tree (LCT) is an annual event produced by Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN.

For the site’s refresh, I rebuilt the LCT WordPress theme from the ground up using the Hybrid Core theme framework. This greatly reduced my development time and allowed me to easily add features like SEO management options and clean, efficient backend code. All in all, the new site is “leaner and meaner” along with being much easier to edit by the Sevier Heights communications staff.
